My husband and neighbor have rented heavy equipment while taking down trees and clearing some land. Using the equipment cost them a little muscle ache, but the $$$ saved doing it themselves was well worth it.
This is where I go when I need to rent equiptment. Redid my back yard recently and rented a Bob Cat as well as a few chain saws. They were friendly and they will deliver and pick up for a certain price. not a chain store.
